Walhill Farm welcomes our latest additions!  Eight (8) beautiful new Black Angus calves born on the farm this fall , and seven frisky teen age Berkshire gilt (yet to be momma’s) pigs.  This is the beginning of our pastured, sustainably raised, healthy herd(s) of animals. One hundred and ninety (190) acres of Walhill’s farm is dedicated to pastures that allow these fine animals to roam the fields and be happy and healthy.  Walhill is, in a sense, becoming a grass farm!  With rotational grazing and responsible farm practices, the idea is to make the farm self sustaining by creating it’s own eco-system that makes food we know and like with a minimal use of chemicals and fertilizers.  Is this idea important to you and your family?
